The Client
The client is positioned as National Tier 1 IT distributor, which focuses on distribution of PC systems, peripherals and IT components.The client has a nationwide network of 23 branches and currently handles a portfolio of over 5000 SKU’s to over 2000 customers.
Within a year the client established itself as the Tier 1 national distributor in India and it plans to be among top 5 IT distributors in next three years. To facilitate its warehousing and distribution requirements, the client was looking for a logistics company which could provide end to end logistics solution.
The Assignment
Holisol Logistics Pvt Ltd was contracted to provide following services:
End to End Import shipment Management by air and sea.
Relocate existing warehouse to bigger facility and execute warehousing services.
PAN India distribution of products.
Our Solution
Holisol provides daily status report for shipment to its clients in addition to ‘One Stop Shop’ PO management thereby providing supply chain visibility for every PO raised by the client.
For warehouse relocation, Holisol conducted a thorough data analysis to assess the current and future warehousing requirements of client. In addition, client’s local distribution network was studied for facility location and distribution network study. Warehouse business processes were defined for efficient warehousing.
For PAN India distribution of products Holisol works with its partners for safe and economic distribution.
The Result
Multiple channel dealings for the client were eliminated as Holisol provided one window logistics solution for import, warehousing and distribution.
The client was able to more than double its warehouse space within the existing costs, leveraging upon Holisol’s local knowledge and expertise in warehousing.
Furthermore, client’s manpower was freed up through resource sharing thus improving their bottom line.
With the logistics operations outsourced to experts , Client is now able to solely focus on its business growth towards their goal to be amongst ‘Top 5 IT Distributors in India .
