Is there a way to reduce the heavy machinery packaging costs and increase profits on logistics?

Transportation of heavy machinery in CKD or SKD form can considerable reduce the logistics cost. Though it adds to the manpower cost due to requirement of assembling at destination and is recommended for destinations with cheaper manpower only.
