The journey of your product ordered via an online product is divided in three stages – First mile, Long haul and Last mile.Last mile is the last stretch of e commerce logistics which deals with movement of your parcel from the distribution center in your city to your home.

The last mile is a metaphor used to describe the movement of goods from a fulfilment centre to their final destination. In other words, the last mile is the last leg of your product’s trip before it arrives on your customer’s doorstep. The ability to fulfil and deliver orders on time could determine an e-tailer’s success.
