One of the leading processors of household consumer products, including essentials to office supplies.
Customer challenges and requirements
The customer has been facing difficulties in managing their deliveries in time-sensitive and a cost-effective way. For which, they were looking for a logistics service provider with a PAN India network who could help them in:
- Last mile deliveries to online marketplaces within 24 hours of receipt of delivery slots
- Reducing defaulting on missing time slot for deliveries to the online marketplaces
- Order cancellations, penalties and detention charges due to missing time slots for deliveries
- Reducing vehicle requirement and overall transportation charges
How we fulfilled it?
- Identified the location close to the market and set up a dedicated area for cross- dock services where goods could be stored for a shorter period of time i.e. less than 10 days
- Designed time-definite FTL solution for movement of products from manufacturing plant to the local cross-dock locations
- Segregated stock at local facilities by purchase order and prepared for last mile delivery
- Last mile delivery solution from Holisol’s local facility to the warehouses of online marketplaces based on their appointment time within 6 hours
- Took care of the returns from their end customer to our FC and then back to the customer’s warehouse
- Implemented TMS (Transportation Management System) for
- Better visibility and transparency of daily vehicle movement
- Tracking timely delivery to their end customer

- +150 appointments of online marketplaces served with 100% on-time in full delivery (OTIF) which earlier was 50%
- 100% reduction in penalties & cancellations on account of timely & full deliveries
